This project maps the precinct of Borivali Station through long exposures. It then becomes the way of seeing and experiencing the site. Long exposure translates the visual and temporal qualities of a space into a spatial and experiential language. Long exposure allows multiple events to happen, all at once; a method of condensing time rather than freezing a single moment. This approach fragments light and overlays instances of motion, revealing rhythms, and traces that often remain unseen. By working with these accumulations, the concept builds layered frames that hold the essence of time passing, evoking a subtle sense of waiting. Fleeting actions - the movement of vehicles, the passage of commuters, shifts in light and sound throughout the day - are captured through these layers and transformed into enduring impressions. The intent is to translate the qualities of a long exposure photograph into an experience, allowing people to inhabit and engage with the layered traces of time and movement in the space itself.
